We know that the tension of the slitter is too high when the center is wound or the pressure of the pressure roller is too large when the surface is wound, which will cause creases or wrinkles on the film surface and affect the quality of the finished coil. On the contrary, if the pressure/tension is reduced, the winding is too loose and it is easy to cause the problem of stringing. Especially for some large rolls of film, due to the uneven thickness at both ends, the pressure of the same pressing roller is unbalanced on both ends.
According to the different types and specifications of the film, the engineers of Coresheng will cooperate with the best tension and pressure under the premise of ensuring the hardness of the film roll, so as to eliminate the problem of uneven end faces caused by stringing.
Here are some tips for your reference.
First of all, observe whether there is vibration on both sides of the pressure roller when it is rotating. The possible cause is the problem of bearing installation, and observe whether there is a gap or uneven height. When the pressure roller vibrates, the pressure on both ends of the membrane surface will change instantaneously, and the end with less pressure is more likely to have edge stringing. In addition, check whether the transmission parts are running well, whether the belt is skipping teeth or slipping, and whether the motor bearings are rotating smoothly. There is also whether there is any abruptness in the relative curves of tension, speed and diameter. Generally, the problem is found through the time point of stringing, and corresponding fine-tuning is carried out. In the future, Kesheng Machinery will share more film slitter winding skills with you.
