Application of cork belts on slitting machines

The guide roller of the slitting machine is usually a rubber roller or a metal roller. The rubber roller is elastic and not anti-slip, while the metal roller is not elastic and not anti-slip. When the film material is running on the roller, relative displacement will occur between the film material and the roller. For some special film materials, when running on such a roller, the relative displacement will cause scratches or abrasions on the surface of the film material. .
When the roller is wrapped with a cork tape, the anti-slip properties of the cork tape prevent the relative displacement of the membrane material, thereby avoiding scratches and abrasions on the surface of the membrane material.
The cork belt has both the elasticity of the rubber roller and the anti-slip properties. Using it to replace the rubber guide roller can not only reduce the cost, but also improve the application function.
