How to prevent malfunctions in automatic slitting machines

I. Daily Preventive Measures

1. Pre-start Inspection: Confirm the power supply voltage is AC220V and stable to avoid control abnormalities caused by voltage fluctuations. Check the equipment exterior for damage and loose parts, paying particular attention to whether the cutting blades are securely installed and free from wear or chips.

2. Cleaning Key Components: Clean paper scraps, dust, and residue from the blade holder, guide rollers, pressure rollers, etc., to prevent dust accumulation from affecting cutting accuracy and transmission smoothness.

3. No-load Test Run: After starting the machine, run it for a short time, listening for any abnormal noises and observing whether each transmission component is functioning normally, promptly identifying potential problems.

II. Weekly Preventive Focus

1. Lubricating Moving Parts: Apply the specified lubricating oil or grease to bearings, gears, chains, slide rails, etc., to avoid dry friction leading to premature wear.

2. Tightening Connectors: Check and tighten the screws of key components such as the blade holder and transmission box to prevent vibration or misalignment caused by loosening. 3. Electrical System Inspection: Check cables for damage and loose connections. Inspect the control cabinet for dust accumulation and ensure good heat dissipation.

III. Monthly Preventive Maintenance:

1. Deep Cleaning and Functional Testing: Disassemble moving parts for internal cleaning. Check pneumatic components (such as cylinders and pressure regulating valves) for leaks and ensure solenoid valves operate sensitively.

2. Calibration of Key Parameters: Calibrate the tension sensor, counting wheel, and web guiding system (EPC) to ensure measurement and control accuracy.

3. Replace Wear Parts: Replace worn blades, belts, bearings, etc., according to usage frequency to prevent sudden failures.

IV. Operating Procedures to Prevent Deviation:

1. Check for uniform paper web tension. If uneven, adjust the longitudinal motor.

2. Increase the wrap angle of the stretching roll and adjust the multi-stage roll air chambers to ensure normal paper roll production and prevent deviation.

3. When unwinding, confirm that the slit paper sheets are taut to prevent loosening and deviation.

4. Check the paper core for deformation and uneven cuts. Substandard paper cores can easily cause uneven winding.

V. Establish a Prevention Mechanism

1. Develop an inspection record sheet to record equipment status each shift, enabling early detection and handling of problems.

2. Establish maintenance files to track component replacement cycles and fault history, optimizing maintenance plans.

3. Adhere to the principles of "thorough cleaning, adequate lubrication, comprehensive inspection, and complete recording," promoting a shift from reactive maintenance to proactive prevention.

4. Through standardized operation and regular maintenance, equipment lifespan can be significantly extended, ensuring production continuity and product quality stability.
