I. Establish a Three-Step Quick Diagnostic Process
Step 1: Check Status Display and Operation Records
Check the touchscreen for alarm codes (e.g., abnormal tension, inverter malfunction);
Confirm whether the "reset button" has not been pressed or the controller is not turned on (common after restarting).
Step 2: Listen for Sound Location and Locate the Abnormal Component
Abnormal Noise: Concentrated on a specific roller → Check for bearing wear or insufficient lubrication;
Periodic Vibration: Synchronized with the rotation speed → Check the roller dynamic balance or transmission alignment;
Metallic Friction Sound: In the blade holder or guide rail area → Check for loose blades or excessive guide rail clearance. Step 3: Observe the operating performance and refer to the typical fault table
| Fault Phenomenon | Priority Inspection Area | Quick Handling Action |
| Wrinkling/Misalignment of Roll Material | Guide Roll Parallelism, Correction Sensor | Measure the deviation with a ruler to see if it is >0.1mm; clean the photoelectric head mirror.
| Uneven Rewinding (Flaking End) | Tension Control, Pressure Roller Pressure | Check if the air source pressure is within the range of 0.6–0.8MPa.
| Cutting Rough Edges | Blade Sharpness, Blade Holder Clearance | Visually inspect the blade for chipping; adjust the clearance to 10–15% according to the material thickness.
| Equipment Cannot Start | Power Supply, Emergency Stop Button, Circuit Breaker | Check the power connection, confirm that the emergency stop has been reset, turn on the circuit breaker.
II. On-site Emergency Handling Techniques for High-Frequency Faults
1. Paper Breakage Due to Uncontrolled Tension: Immediately check if the unwinding/rewinding tension controller is turned on, press the "reset button" on both controllers, and then gradually adjust the output current.
2. No display on the speed controller: Check if the power cord is loose, if the circuit breaker has tripped, and if the network cable is detached. If the hardware is normal but there is still no display, contact the manufacturer for replacement.
3. Vibration of the paper pressure roller: Check if the proportional valve is blocked (clean or replace), if the top core bearing is damaged (replace the bearing), and if the guide rail is worn (repair or replace).
4. Paper core is pushed in: Check if the pins on both sides rotate freely and if the springs are faulty; if stuck, add lubricating oil to the spring end to restore elasticity.
III. Preventive Inspection Recommendations
Perform a "5-minute inspection" before starting the machine each shift:
Check air pressure (0.6–0.8MPa) and voltage stability;
Listen for any abnormal noises;
Check if the sensors are clean;
Touch the bearing temperature to see if it is too high (not hot to the touch);
Test the emergency stop function for effectiveness.
Equip a simple tool kit containing alcohol wipes (for cleaning sensors), vernier calipers (for measuring gaps), an infrared thermometer (for measuring bearing temperature), and an Allen wrench (for tightening bolts).
