The main processes of plastic film slitting machine

1) Film loading: Hoist the mother roll to be slit onto the unwinding rack of the slitting machine and lock the mother roll. If the unwinding mechanism uses an air-inflating shaft, the plastic film roll needs to be pushed to the appropriate position and inflated. To tighten the roll material. The winding reel is loaded with paper tubes that meet the specifications. During the loading process, attention must be paid to safety and to ensuring that the front and back of the material and the direction of rotation are correct.
2) Knife adjustment process: Adjust the knife distance as required and ensure the correct direction of the knife edge. When using a pneumatic pressure circular knife or razor for slitting, you only need to adjust and lock the knife distance as required, and check that the knife holder is not loose and that the circular blade rotates smoothly to avoid affecting the slitting quality. When using the circular knife cutting method, generally adjust the appropriate distance between the upper circular knife and the lower circular knife and place them in the middle of the lower knife groove. The gap between the upper and lower knife is generally about 2mm. If the cutting is too large, there will be burrs, and if it is too small, the blade will be damaged. If necessary, you can Remove the bottom knife and rearrange the knives.
3) Roll film threading: Film threading is to flatly distribute the plastic roll film on the guide roller of the equipment according to the process requirements of the slitting machine design. During the film threading process, the correction position needs to be aligned so that the material is in the center of the correction formation. At the same time, adjust the paper core on the winding reel, paste the slit narrow-width material on the paper tube and align it.
4) Roll film splicing: The film splicing process is to change the roll and film when the parent roll film material is cut. First, align and stack the new and old roll film materials and place them flatly on the film splicing table, then open the pressure strip to compress the film. Use a paper cutter to cut off the excess material neatly along the gap, and use tape or ultrasonic welding to bond it flatly. Note that the joints must be neat and wrinkle-free.
5) Film roll unloading: Unloading is the process of unloading the slit finished film roll material from the winding reel. There are many unloading methods for film slitting machines. For lighter materials, the film roll is generally pushed out from the side of the unwinding reel or the air expansion shaft is directly removed. For film rolls with larger mass, unloading racks or cranes are generally used to assist in unloading. In addition, fully automatic unloading racks equipped with automatic translation mechanisms are increasingly used in plastic film slitting machines.
