1. Storage
Store knives in a cool, dry place. To prevent the blade from rusting, apply a thin coat of oil to and near the blade with a nylon brush. It is best to use the carton provided by the paper cutter supplier when storing, and make sure that the blade does not touch any parts or items in the carton. The cutter blade can be completely encased in foam, the support blocks inside the box must be supported on the short shafts at both ends of the cutter blade, not on the blade.
Second, traffic
When packing, be sure to use a suitable size and sturdy box, each box contains only one paper cutter blade, and the surface of the paper cutter blade is covered with foam plastic. The short shafts at both ends of the paper cutter blade are respectively covered with wooden blocks with holes, and the wooden blocks are fixed in the box to prevent the die cutter from moving in the box during transportation. The outside of the box is to be secured with packing straps. The words "Vulnerable Parts" must be marked on the surface of the case to attract attention.
3. Lifting and handling
When hoisting and handling in the workshop, the cloth cover should be applied to the surface of the paper cutter blade to prevent the blade from being damaged. When installing other parts, prevent the parts from loosening and falling on the paper cutter blade, otherwise it will cause serious damage to the paper cutter blade.
4. Use and maintenance
When using the paper cutter blade, it is necessary to insist on using the rolling shoulder scraper, put an appropriate amount of lubricating oil every day to keep the paper cutter blade clean, and form a thin layer of oil film between the two surfaces to improve the wear resistance of the cut paper machine blade.
5. Record
Get into the good habit of keeping records, including the number of times you cut the paper, the date the paper cutter returned to sharpen, and the condition of the paper cut each time you work. With reference to these records, you can know when you need to sharpen the paper cutting blade and when you need to order a new paper cutting blade in future production to avoid delays in production or waste.
