What are the common malfunctions of aluminum foil cutting machines?

I. Cutting Accuracy and Quality Issues

1. Excessive Dimensional Deviation: The actual cutting dimension deviates from the set value beyond the tolerance. This is often caused by worn or loose feed screws or outdated tool compensation parameters, leading to substandard finished product dimensions and increased scrap rate.

2. Poor Cutting Surface Quality: This manifests as numerous burrs and unevenness in the cut, caused by dulling or wearing of the saw blade, spindle bearing misalignment, and uneven worktable surface. This affects product appearance and subsequent processing.

3. Excessive Tool Wear: Excessive cutting speed, improper parameter settings, and lubrication/cooling system malfunctions accelerate tool wear, increasing tool replacement costs and reducing production efficiency.

II. Mechanical Power Issues

1. Abnormal Equipment Vibration: Poor balance of the rotating wheel, excessive clearance between parts, and loose motor mounting can cause equipment vibration, affecting cutting accuracy and accelerating component aging over time.

2. Excessive Operating Noise: Insufficient base rigidity, excessive clearance between mating parts, and the use of inferior bearings can lead to excessive noise, affecting the production environment.

3. Motor Failure: Prolonged overload operation, short circuits or open circuits in the windings, poor heat dissipation, and unstable voltage can cause the motor to fail to start or stop, directly resulting in production interruption.

4. Excessive Saw Blade Swing: Improper saw blade installation, substandard saw blade quality, and worn spindle bearings can cause abnormal saw blade swing, resulting not only in uneven cutting surfaces but also posing a safety hazard of saw blade breakage.

5. Inaccurate Feed Positioning: Failure of the feed motor, loose or worn belts/chains, and misalignment of the positioning device can lead to inconsistent cutting lengths, affecting the finished product qualification rate.

III. Control System and Hydraulic Systems

1. Hydraulic System Failure: Hydraulic oil leakage, hydraulic pump damage, and hydraulic valve blockage can cause abnormal tool feed and retraction movements, affecting cutting efficiency.

2. Control System Malfunction: Controller program errors, sensor malfunctions, and aging electrical wiring can lead to operational instability and the inability to perform automation functions properly.

3. Blade Lifting Jam: Insufficient air pressure, foreign objects stuck in the cylinder, and cylinder damage can cause the blade to fail to lift normally, preventing continuous operation of the equipment.
