Slitting machine is a kind of mechanical equipment that cuts wide-width paper, mica tape or film into multiple narrow-width materials. It is often used in papermaking machinery, wire and cable mica tape, and printing and packaging machinery. Main applications: slitting of non-woven fabrics, mica tape, paper, insulating materials and film materials, suitable for slitting narrow bands.
The blades of the equipment are used very frequently, and the damage to the blades is also high. Therefore, the blades must be inspected and replaced.
In a sense, smashing can be regarded as an abnormal wear. There are two types of blade smashing: early and late. The main forms of slitter blade crushing are abrasion and crushing. In the modern production of fine crushing, when the blade is abnormally worn or crushed, if it is not detected in time and measures are taken, the workpiece will be scrapped, and the machine tool will be crushed, causing great losses.
If the blade cannot withstand the stress, sudden crushing may occur, causing it to lose the cutting ability in advance, which is called slitter blade crushing, and crushing is related to wear.
