How to Prevent Common Faults in Reversible Rewinders?

Daily Inspections are Fundamental

Before starting the machine each day, be sure to check the control panel instruments, air supply pressure, paper edge ducts for blockages, and the smooth operation of the pulper and pulp pump. Also, check the core paper dimensions for compliance; strict selection is required before loading. These basic checks effectively prevent malfunctions caused by insufficient preparation.

Regular Maintenance is Essential

Regularly check the equipment's lubrication, add lubricating oil as needed, and ensure the clearance between the longitudinal device's cutter shafts meets standards. The piston rod of the pusher device should be in the non-operating position. In addition, frequently check the photocells in dangerous areas of the rewinder for sensitivity and good working order. These maintenance measures significantly reduce equipment wear and the risk of malfunctions.

Operating Procedures Must Be Memorized

During operation, you must concentrate and carefully observe the equipment's operating status and paper web tension. Overloading the rewinder is strictly prohibited. Do not cut quenched steel, hard steel, high-speed steel, alloy steel, castings, or non-metallic materials. When multiple people are operating the equipment, a designated person should give instructions to ensure coordinated operation. Proper operation can effectively prevent equipment damage caused by human error.

Safety Details to Note

Keep the work area clean. Oil stains and damaged paper on the ground should be cleaned up promptly to prevent slips and injuries. Do not use a broom to clean the equipment while it is running to prevent accidents. These safety details may seem small, but they are crucial for preventing malfunctions.
