1. After each shift: Promptly clear aluminum chips from the work surface and the material feed inlet to prevent chips from flying into the electrical control box or motor area, which could cause short circuits or electrical arcing.
2. Periodic deep cleaning: Clean accumulated dust from the electrical control cabinet filters, motor fan shrouds, and junction boxes weekly to prevent the buildup of conductive aluminum chips, which poses a risk of flash fires or explosions.
II. Lubrication and Drive System Maintenance
1. Regular lubrication: Apply lubricant to support rods, hold-down frame rings, and the front and rear shafts of connecting rods to prevent components from seizing.
2. Lead screw and guide rail maintenance: For fully automatic models, regularly lubricate lead screws and guide rails with oil to prevent rust and wear, ensuring cutting dimensional accuracy.
3. Belt inspection and replacement: Regularly check drive belts for wear; replace them promptly if excessive wear or looseness is detected to prevent production interruptions caused by belt breakage.
III. Oil Circuit and Cooling System Inspection
1. Oil reservoir inspection: Daily check the oil level in the lubrication/cooling reservoir; replenish oil and remove impurities promptly to ensure smooth lubrication and cooling.
2. Cooling system maintenance: For models with jacketed water circuits, flush and descale water channels monthly; disassemble and clear spray nozzles every two weeks to prevent blockages that could cause localized overheating and material adhesion.
IV. Electrical and Safety System Inspection
1. Wiring and grounding checks: Regularly inspect equipment wiring for signs of aging; every six months, verify that the machine's grounding resistance is ≤4Ω and tighten main circuit terminals to prevent static electricity buildup from damaging the control system.
2. Temperature probe calibration: Calibrate temperature sensors against a reference every three months to prevent temperature control failures that could place an excessive load on the equipment.
3. Operational safety protocols: During maintenance, the power supply must be disconnected and warning signs displayed to prevent accidental equipment startup and resulting safety accidents.
V. Maintenance During Prolonged Shutdown
1. For shutdowns exceeding one week: thoroughly clean the equipment chamber; apply fresh grease to bearings; coat moving parts with anti-rust oil; cover the motor with a dust- and moisture-proof cloth; and disconnect the main power supply.
2. Maintain an equipment operation log to record current fluctuations, temperature changes, and the timing of wear-part replacements, enabling the anticipation of wear-related service intervals.
