1. Correct operation and use
Standardize the startup and shutdown process
Before starting the machine, check whether the various parts of the equipment are in normal condition, such as whether the tool is firmly installed and whether the electrical system is normal. When starting the machine, the main power should be turned on first, and then the subsystems (such as unwinding, slitting, winding, etc.) should be turned on in sequence. When shutting down, on the contrary, stop the subsystem first and then turn off the main power. This can avoid the impact of sudden start or stop of the equipment on various components.
Avoid frequent start and stop of the equipment, because frequent start and stop will cause the motor, electrical components, etc. to bear a large current impact, which is easy to cause damage to these components.
Reasonably set the operating parameters
According to the characteristics of the material (such as material, thickness, hardness, etc.) and slitting requirements, reasonably set the operating parameters of the slitting machine, including slitting speed, tool spacing, winding tension, etc. For example, for thinner and softer materials, the slitting speed should not be too fast, and is generally controlled at 30-50 meters per minute; for thicker and harder materials, the winding tension can be appropriately increased, but excessive tension should also be avoided to cause material deformation or equipment overload.
2. Daily maintenance
Keep the equipment clean
After each use of the slitting machine, promptly clean the dust, debris and residual materials on the surface of the equipment, the cutter, the unwinding and winding devices. Clean the transmission parts (such as chains, belts, gears, etc.) inside the equipment regularly (such as weekly). You can use a brush and cleaning oil to clean and remove oil and impurities. Cleaning can prevent dust and debris from entering the equipment and reduce equipment wear.
Check equipment components regularly
Check the operating status and wear of each component of the equipment regularly (such as monthly). Check whether the cutting edge of the tool is sharp. If the cutting edge is worn more than 0.2 - 0.3 mm, the tool should be replaced in time; check the wear of the transmission parts (such as chains, belts, gears, etc.). If the chain is stretched more than 5% of the original length, the belt is cracked or the wear thickness exceeds 1/3 of the original thickness, and the gear tooth surface is worn more than 0.5 mm, the corresponding parts should be replaced in time; check whether the wires of the electrical system are damaged or aged. If the outer skin of the wire is cracked or damaged more than 1 mm, the wire should be replaced in time.
Lubrication work
Lubricate and maintain the transmission parts regularly (such as every 1000 hours of operation) according to the use of the equipment. For chains, chain-specific lubricants can be used; for gears, gear oil can be used for lubrication. Pay attention to the appropriate amount of lubrication to avoid excessive lubricating oil causing oil splashing. At the same time, pay attention to lubricating other moving parts of the equipment (such as bearings, etc.). 3. Equipment storage management
Short-term shutdown management
If the slitting machine is shut down for a short period of time (no more than 1 week), the equipment should be kept clean and covered with dustproof cloth on the surface of the equipment to prevent dust accumulation. At the same time, turn off the power of the equipment to avoid aging of electrical components due to long-term power supply.
Long-term shutdown management
If the slitting machine is shut down for a long time (more than 1 month), in addition to cleaning, anti-rust oil should be applied to the surface of metal parts, such as knives, reels, etc. to prevent rust. Wrap the equipment with waterproof and dustproof materials (such as plastic film) and store it in a dry and well-ventilated environment.
